In order to get people's awareness about people experiencing difficulties to read, the Greenville Literacy Association advertised for their 2010 Book Sale with a lot of creativity. They have created illusions on the streets for everyone to realize the efforts the association is making everyday to help the people read more and more and tackle these difficulties.

Ideosphere

As usual, an extremely interesting TED talk about the birth and development of 'good' ideas. How do we become enlighted ? Where do ideas come from ? If you have a minute to spare, go for it !

The Ideosphere is a concept I read about in a book by Werber (see more here in French) and loved right away when I came across it. Werber was saying we can see the world as an ideosphere. People are connected to each other for the ideas they share consciously or unconsciously.

Before the Internet and before, scientists would discover the same phenomenum without knowing each other and working more 1000 kilometers away. With the Internet, ideas can spread a lot faster and we can select the one we want.

Ideas spread and shape our world. it is important to know where they come from and why we ought to share them with everyone.
