Ideosphere

As usual, an extremely interesting TED talk about the birth and development of 'good' ideas. How do we become enlighted ? Where do ideas come from ? If you have a minute to spare, go for it !
The Ideosphere is a concept I read about in a book by Werber (see more here in French) and loved right away when I came across it. Werber was saying we can see the world as an ideosphere. People are connected to each other for the ideas they share consciously or unconsciously.
Before the Internet and before, scientists would discover the same phenomenum without knowing each other and working more 1000 kilometers away. With the Internet, ideas can spread a lot faster and we can select the one we want.
Ideas spread and shape our world. it is important to know where they come from and why we ought to share them with everyone.

Anonyme a dit…

Thinking about the physical limits of our own senses (we feel the world surrounding only as a chemical or an electrical phenomenon, whenever we speak about touch, smell, taste, hearing or sight this is true), and we have actually no proof to be you and me more substantial, concrete or real than a single simple Idea. And believe me, if you start thinking that everything is an idea... just an idea being, without any goal, with no beginning and no end... Well this is the "Hell" ! So better keeping beeing unaware ? In fact IdeaS are all more or less straight or curved lines crossing coordinate points that defines the intrinsic truth of the idea, an idea is the dynamic, the way you take to move across static states. Between two states you are dead. And all this is inscribed on the surface of a sphere... the ideosphere maybe ?
