J. Clay Tweel's "Make Believe" was picked the best documentary at the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival.
Tweel's film follows six young magicians from Japan, South African and the United States as they prepare to compete in the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas. It looks really cool !

Tron is a really cool and old school movie from 1982. The trailer and the design was not as good as today (trailer of Tron back in the days here :-) but they are re-editing a version called Tron : Legacy which will be out in the beginning of 2011. For now the game has been presented at the E3, world's largest video games exhibition in Los Angeles, and the trailer for the video game is amazing. Enjoy !

If you still wonder what is possible or what isn't, it must be because you don't come here often enough. Something that can be easily fixed with this kind of video where you just don't understand why someone would spend so much time (2 weeks in this case) doing something "pointless" and yet appreciate an extraordinary result. If you focus on the result, you'll understand that the process is even more amazing and magic !

C'est dommage que ce soit pour une pub pour une télévision, même si ça si prête, mais c'est encore Samsung qui fait dans la créativité et l'émerveillement en mapping et vidéoprojection pour "sortir du cadre". En bref, du Magic Marketing ;-)
Ca a eu lieu à Amsterdam pendant 3 jours et c'est vraiment impressionnant ... et en 3D !
A part ça, c'est aussi Mardi Magie aux Cariatides, pour boire un verre après le boulot dans une bonne ambiance et en participant à des tours de magie avec des magiciens professionnels et amateurs. Ca débute à partir de 19h. A ce soir.

Trois ans après la sortie de "We are the night", Tom Rowland et Ed Simons sortent leur 7ème album "Further". Le duo de musique électronique anglais, "The Chemical Brothers" (site officiel), va accompagner les 8 morceaux qui composent l'album d'un film pour exploiter les possibilités sans limite de leur son. une tournée va donc reprendre et un live impressionnant s'annonce dans un futur proche. A bon entendeur ...

Je disais que c'était la tendance des pubs car j'ai posté une pub Axe récemment un peu dans le même genre et il y a pas mal de vidéo et de projets dans ce style : vous n'avez qu'à suivre ce lien pour la pub Axe et ce lien pour des photos très remarquables mais très ressemblantes.
A l’occasion de la sortie du film l’Illusionniste mais ausi pour vous faire découvrir un site que j'aime beaucoup, Fubiz, 'daily dose of inspiration', vous propose le bon plan pour gagner des places de ciné pour aller voir le flim, il suffit de laisser un commentaire sur leur site. Après les Triplettes de Belleville en 2003, ce nouveau film d'animation de Sylvain Chomet sortira dans les salles ce mercredi 16 juin. Le tirage au sort du site aura lieu à minuit ce soir là pour 10x2 places.

You have dreamt of it when you were young because you thought skateboards were cool but not as cool as the hoverboard that Marty had in the movie Back To The Future II. Well, the Hoverboard now exists even though I doubt you can ride it on everywhere yet. It is a project made by Nils Guadagnin, a young French artist. Integrated into the board and the plinth is an electromagnetic system which levitates the board. A laser system stabilises the object in the air.
For those who can't wait, you can still try to get the Tony Hawk's skateboarding game "Ride" that will be out soon including a motion-sensing skateboard controller.
Ce week-end avait lieu à Paris des concerts de musiques électroniques sur 2 soirées avec des grands noms de la scène mondiale.
Le 1er soir il y avait Plastikman (aka Richie Hawtin) avec un visuel à couper le souffle d'après ce que j'ai lu comme review et vu sur le net. La qualité du spectacle est impressionante. Je vous laisse en juger sur la vidéo suivante :
Le samedi soir, il y avait Vitalic en Live avec son V Mirror (des écrans placés en opposition et en forme de V renversé) avec ses remix de ses sons et notamment son dernier album Flashmob. Excellent !

Lost, one of the best TV Show ended up this year and it was maybe not the best but one of a generation with loads of different theories and fans. It was also the end of 24 with Jack Bauer with the 8th season, what a hero !
Fortunately for us, TV will provide for the coming years (who wondered ?) and a new TV show called Flash Forward has been broadcasted since September. The first season has ended with its 23rd episode only a couple weeks ago.
Flash Forward is a new concept of a global black out where everybody will see THEIR future 6 months from the event. After that then starts the investigation to understand what caused the black out, what happened during these 2min17s and what people have seen ... Here is the trailer !
Re-using the idea of the black out, a Swiss website has organized a massive flashmob to shock and increase global awareness about nuclear powerplants and the few zones around them where you would be taking care of in case of an emergency.
The video is shocking and people in the street strongly react to the event. It is scary and makes me think twice indeed. What a success !

The iPad has just been out a few days ago in France and people are already going crazy for it. I believe it is a bit soon for getting an iPad since it hasn't been developed enough yet. Eventhough I love the concept of the product and its features and the numerous new opportunities.

En attendant un petit message sécurité, un peu magique aussi il faut le dire, car il ne faut pas oublier les gestes de premiers secours, c'est vraiment important. Et ça peut toujours servir. On est d'accord !
