Ciao Paris by TMBW

Crazy Mapping Story

The story of "Yekpare" narrates 8 500 years history of Istanbul and embraces symbols from Pagans to Roman Empire, from Byzantine Empire to Latin Empire, and finally from Ottoman Empire to Istanbul at the present day ... Here is this story in video on a huge building, Haydarpaşa Train Station, with its brilliant architectural forms. Amazing !

Magic @ Los Angeles Film Festival

J. Clay Tweel's "Make Believe" was picked the best documentary at the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival.

Tweel's film follows six young magicians from Japan, South African and the United States as they prepare to compete in the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas. It looks really cool !

No Special Effects

Base jumpers James Boole and Alistair Marsh made this commercial with no special effects. Who hasn't dreamt of leaving after work flying off the roof ?

Base jumping is illegal in all countries except for Kuala Lumpur, where it was shot

In the Table of the Shadows

Look at this tabletop interface where you can play with artificial shadows lying on the boundary between the real and fantasy. It's unreal actually. What do you think ?

Magic Tuesday : Vintage Trick #16 Domino Pool

Welcome to the Grid

Tron is a really cool and old school movie from 1982. The trailer and the design was not as good as today (trailer of Tron back in the days here :-) but they are re-editing a version called Tron : Legacy which will be out in the beginning of 2011. For now the game has been presented at the E3, world's largest video games exhibition in Los Angeles, and the trailer for the video game is amazing. Enjoy !
