Back to the Future

You have dreamt of it when you were young because you thought skateboards were cool but not as cool as the hoverboard that Marty had in the movie Back To The Future II. Well, the Hoverboard now exists even though I doubt you can ride it on everywhere yet. It is a project made by Nils Guadagnin, a young French artist. Integrated into the board and the plinth is an electromagnetic system which levitates the board. A laser system stabilises the object in the air.

Soon for sale, I hope ;-)

For those who can't wait, you can still try to get the Tony Hawk's skateboarding game "Ride" that will be out soon including a motion-sensing skateboard controller.

Lundi en Musique #10 : We Love Sonique

Nuclear Flashmob

Lost, one of the best TV Show ended up this year and it was maybe not the best but one of a generation with loads of different theories and fans. It was also the end of 24 with Jack Bauer with the 8th season, what a hero !

Fortunately for us, TV will provide for the coming years (who wondered ?) and a new TV show called Flash Forward has been broadcasted since September. The first season has ended with its 23rd episode only a couple weeks ago.

Flash Forward is a new concept of a global black out where everybody will see THEIR future 6 months from the event. After that then starts the investigation to understand what caused the black out, what happened during these 2min17s and what people have seen ... Here is the trailer !

Re-using the idea of the black out, a Swiss website has organized a massive flashmob to shock and increase global awareness about nuclear powerplants and the few zones around them where you would be taking care of in case of an emergency.

The video is shocking and people in the street strongly react to the event. It is scary and makes me think twice indeed. What a success !

Wake Up !

Animated Optical Illusion II

Several months ago I posted the first attemps of animated optical illusion and it was already disturbing (it's right here). Today here is the new version with better display and ideas. It is indeed ... moving !

Magic Ways of Communicating

The iPad has just been out a few days ago in France and people are already going crazy for it. I believe it is a bit soon for getting an iPad since it hasn't been developed enough yet. Eventhough I love the concept of the product and its features and the numerous new opportunities.

Let me present you a magic marketing video with the iPad performed by a japanese magician, Shinya, with loads of good ideas and presentation. Hope you enjoy !

Have a good week-end !

Ping Pong Door

A wicked functional design by Tobias Fraenzel. Who doesn't love the idea, come on ?

Nitro Circus Live World Record

Magic Tuesday : Best Illusion of the Year

Lundi en Musique #8 : Man-Day
